Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
